What Is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy helps to optimise your body's functional ability by using a variety of techniques to help your muscles and joints and nerves work to their full potential.
It can repair damage following injury by speeding up the healing process and reducing stiffness and pain.
Physiotherapists play an important role in maintaining an optimum level of physical conditioning through every phase of life.
Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist?
No — you do not require a referral to see us if you are a private patient.
However, you will need a referral from a doctor if you are covered by Veteran's affairs, Workers Compensation, the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care scheme, or Compulsory Third Party.
