Our gym at Nambucca Heads physiotherapy centre is designed to be very functional, using exercise bikes, free and fixed weight apparatus, resistive theraband therapy, durodiscs, wobble boards, use of steps and a ramp, and gait training equipment.

With gym balls, the primary benefit of this form of exercise as opposed to exercising directly on a hard surface is that the body responds to the instability of the ball to remain balanced, engaging many more muscles.
